A chair with timeless design that draws upon colonial styles for inspiration. Like all of Le Corbusier’s works, the LC1 armchair stems from in-depth study of human posture and is engineered to provide perfect support for dignified relaxation and that, thanks to the tilting backrest, puts one in the mood for conversation. The compositional simplicity of the iconic LC1 armchair lends itself to various settings and is available in different versions, like the one exhibited in 1930 at the Union des Artistes Modernes expo.
